"Wrestling Trump in the Ocean of My Mind"

Rolling like waves on stormy—yet oddly graceful—seas,

there I was…wrestling with Trump.

In a dream.

Yep, as weird for me as it probably is for you.

But no, not aggressive.

And definitely not that kind of dream.

Just two characters, playing out our roles

on the stage of the subconscious.

I pinned him down—again.

(Pretty sure I was waterbending.

Not saying I’m the Avatar, but…)

Anyway, I “won.”

He got up.

Walked off.

And then, out of nowhere—a swell rose from my chest.

Not pride.

Not triumph.

Love.

The kind I reserve for the dearest souls in my life.

It just… poured out.

What the actual tide?

Could it be like this?

Could love—absurd, unexplainable, wave-crashing love—

be the undercurrent that shapes even our strangest dreams?

Some might say I’m naïve. Unrealistic.

But what if—just what if

love was the guiding principle?

The true power behind the so-called “free” world?

  • For those wondering—“waterbending” is a reference to the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender, where characters can manipulate elements like water, fire, earth, or air. It’s basically magical martial arts meets inner mastery.
